Torah Math
In this week’s Parasha we are taught of Yosef telling over his dreams. The second dream was about the sun, moon, and stars and Rashi tells us that Yaakov said that this was not possible because Rachel (the moon) had already passed away. You can see this from the underlined words in this Pasuk:
וַיּאמֶר לוֹ מָה הַחֲלוֹם הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר חָלָמְתָּ הֲבוֹא נָבוֹא אֲנִי וְאִמְּךָ וְאַחֶיךָ לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת לְךָ אָרְצָה: (בראשית לז:י)...

Southern Fruit Iced Tea
(Egypt is south of Kinahan)
Ingredients
Brew Tea Concentrate
- Put 5 tea bags into 4 cups (32 oz) of boiling water
- Leave to cool slightly
-Add:
1 cup of granulated sugar *
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
1/2 cup of orange juice
Juice of one lemon
1/8 cup of cherry juice, optional
Lemon, orange or pineapple slices and/or Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
Squeeze tea bags and remove. To a 2-quart pitcher, add the warm tea concentrate and stir in the 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Add the pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and cherry juice. Fill the pitcher with ice, top off with water, only if needed, to fill the pitcher, stir and serve. Garnish with a slice of fruit and a cherry, if desired.
* Notes: Keep in mind that different brands of juices have different levels of sweetness so you may need to make adjustments in the additional sugar.
